Privacy Policy

What we collect when you ask us to call you, why we need it, and who else sees it.

Effective [EFFECTIVE DATE] · Last updated [DATE]

01Who we are

Liberty Life Partners is an independent life insurance agency. We are not an insurance company. We help people find life insurance coverage and place it with the carrier that fits them, and the carrier issues the policy.

In this policy, "we," "us" and "our" mean Liberty Life Partners, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME, e.g. Liberty Life Partners LLC], located at [BUSINESS MAILING ADDRESS]. "You" means anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.

02What we collect

Information you give us directly
When you submit the form on this site, you give us your name, your state, your phone number, your email address, what brought you to us, and when you'd like to be reached. If you call or email us, we have whatever you tell us in that conversation.
Information collected when you apply for coverage
If you decide to apply for a policy, the application asks for more — typically date of birth, address, income or coverage amount, beneficiary details, and health history. Some carriers also ask for authorization to check prescription, motor vehicle, or medical records. That information is collected for the carrier's underwriting, and the carrier's own privacy notice governs what they do with it.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server information — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and to keep the site running. This site runs no advertising trackers, no analytics pixels, and no third-party cookies. If that changes, this policy changes with it.

03Why we collect it

We use what you give us to:

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with lead buyers or data brokers. The information you give us is used to get you coverage, not resold as a product.

04Who we share it with

We share your information only in these situations:

Insurance carriers
We cannot get you a quote or place a policy without sending your information to the carrier. We are appointed with [CONFIRM CURRENT CARRIER LIST] — currently Americo, Mutual of Omaha, Foresters Financial and Corebridge Financial. Each carrier handles your information under its own privacy notice.
Service providers who work for us
Our website host, email provider, and customer records system. They may process your information only to provide that service to us. [LIST CRM / FORM PROVIDER ONCE CHOSEN]
When the law requires it
In response to a subpoena, a regulator's request, or where we are legally obligated, and to protect our rights or someone's safety.
If the business changes hands
If the agency is sold or merged, client records may transfer as part of that transaction. You would remain covered by a policy at least as protective as this one.

05Calls, texts and email

When you submit the form you are agreeing that we may contact you about coverage by phone, text message or email, including at the number you gave us. Message and data rates may apply. Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of buying anything.

You can stop it at any time. Reply STOP to any text, tell us on a call, or email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. We honor the request and keep only what we need to make sure we don't contact you again.

06How long we keep it

If you contacted us but never applied, we keep your inquiry for [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 24 months] and then delete it. If you applied for or bought a policy, insurance regulations require us to keep those records — generally [STATE RECORD RETENTION PERIOD] after the policy ends. Ask us and we'll tell you what we hold on you.

07Your choices and rights

Whatever state you're in, you can ask us to:

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and a growing number of other states have additional statutory rights, including the right to know what categories of information we've collected and disclosed, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law.

To make a request, email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL] or write to us at the address above. We may need to verify who you are before we act, and we'll respond within the time the applicable law allows.

08Health information

Life insurance underwriting involves health questions. Any health information you share is used only to find and place coverage, is shared only with the carriers considering your application, and is handled in line with the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable state insurance privacy law. We do not use health information for marketing.

09Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to client information to people who need it to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't promise otherwise — but if a breach affects your information we will notify you as the law requires.

10Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
